1. Client Assessment: Conducting thorough consultations with clients to understand their medical history, current health conditions, and specific concerns. This involves actively listening to clients, asking relevant questions, and documenting their health information accurately.

2. Treatment Planning: Designing personalized treatment plans for clients based on their individual needs and health goals. This includes selecting suitable Panchakarma therapies, determining the duration of treatment, and recommending any lifestyle modifications or dietary changes if necessary.

3. Panchakarma Therapy Administration: Administering various Panchakarma therapies, such as Abhyanga (oil massage), Swedana (herbal steam therapy), Shirodhara (oil pouring on the forehead), Virechana (purgation therapy), Basti (enema therapy), and Nasya (nasal administration of medications). It is essential to have a comprehensive understanding of these therapies and the ability to perform them safely and effectively.

4. Herbal Preparations: Preparing and administering herbal decoctions, oils, and other Ayurvedic formulations used during Panchakarma therapies. This requires knowledge of Ayurvedic herbs and their properties, as well as the skills to prepare the appropriate formulations.

5. Treatment Monitoring: Monitoring clients' progress throughout the treatment process, observing changes in symptoms, and evaluating the effectiveness of Panchakarma therapies. This involves regularly assessing clients' responses to the treatments and making any necessary adjustments to the treatment plans.

6. Client Education: Educating clients about the principles of Ayurveda, Panchakarma therapies, and the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. Providing guidance on post-treatment care, including dietary recommendations, exercise, and stress management techniques, is crucial for supporting clients' long-term wellness.

7. Hygiene and Safety: Ensuring a clean and hygienic treatment environment, following proper infection control protocols, and maintaining a safe practice. Panchakarma therapists should adhere to hygiene standards and ensure that all equipment and instruments used during treatments are sanitized.

8. Documentation: Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of clients' consultations, treatment plans, therapy sessions, and progress notes. This includes documenting treatment outcomes, any adverse reactions, and relevant observations to ensure proper documentation and continuity of care.

9. Professional Development: Engaging in continuous learning and professional development by staying updated with the latest advancements in Ayurveda, Panchakarma therapies, and related fields. This may involve attending workshops, seminars, conferences, or pursuing advanced certifications or degrees.

10. Ethics and Confidentiality: Respecting client confidentiality, adhering to professional ethics, and maintaining a high level of integrity in all aspects of practice. Panchakarma therapists should prioritize the well-being and privacy of their clients.
